          Ioanna Gika is a Greek-American singer and songwriter. She is known for her work in Io Echo, her solo music projects, and work on various film soundtracks.

          Early life

          Gika was born in Washington D.C. on August 5, 1994. She spent much of her life moving between Greece and the United states. Gika has supported herself financially since she was a teenager.

          Music career

          Io Echo

          Gika and Leopold Ross started the band Io Echo in Los Angeles during 2009. They released their first album, Ministry of Love, in 2013.[2] Reznor invited the duo to join him on the Wave Goodbye Tour.[3]
