          Dragonsdale is a fantasy novel written by The Two Steves (Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore) under the pen name "Salamanda Drake" and published by Scholastic in 2007.[1][2]

          There is one sequel, Riding the Storm (2008).

          ISFDB catalogues the two novels as the Dragonriders of Bresal series.[2]

          Plot

          The novel takes place in a fictional location called the Isles of Bresal which are protected by a bank of mist called The Veil.

          On Bresal there are stables that train dragons. Cara, the protagonist, cleans dragons for the stable Dragonsdale.
